Life After Braces
A: Yes. Wearing a retainer is the most important step in protecting your new smile. Retainers are provided at the end of your treatment to hold your teeth in their new, correct positions and prevent them from shifting back. Think of it as insurance for your investment!
A: Diligent retainer wear is a lifelong commitment to your smile. As your teeth, gums, and bone stabilize over time, you can gradually reduce how often you wear them. We typically recommend the following schedule:
First Year: Full-time wear (24/7, except when eating or brushing).

A: We offer three main types of custom-made retainers to fit your needs:
Fixed Retainer: This is a thin, braided wire that is discreetly bonded behind your front teeth. It is not removable and provides constant retention.
